Remi has been the best dog we could have ever imagined. She is SO smart, so gentle, so loyal, and so very loving. She was a gift to my husband who had just come home from serving in Iraq. He suffered from some pretty intense PTSD, and I am convinced that Remi saved his life on several occasions. When he felt like nobody understood him, and the world wasn't a safe place for him, he had her - always right by his side. We started having children about 4 years after Remi came home with us, and instinctively she understood that these were very important little people, and it was her job to be a good friend to them. We all argue over who Remi sleeps with at night, whose turn it is to snuggle with her, and who gets to hold her leash on walks. When we take walks as a family, we get comments from strangers who are in awe that our two year old is holding her leash, and she behaves so well. When the sad day comes that Remi's time on earth is finished, we will be going right back to Teresa for another dog. Labradoodles are it for us - and Teresa is our breeder. We are forever grateful to her for raising such amazing dogs.
